What a charming place! Alan and Linda made us feel right at home, and the room was spotless with plenty of tea and biscuits. Only downside was that parking isn't free, but it’s not far from the station. Defo planning to return!

The atmosphere of the pub is lively and engaging, perfect for socializing after a long day. The decor in the Double Room is charming and cozy, creating a welcoming space to unwind.
Arrived on a Monday when the noise from a party outside kept me up past midnight, although this seemed to be a one-off situation. check-out at 10 AM felt a bit early. an 11 AM option would have been better, but I suspect a simple request could sort that out.

Families looking for a warm stay
I was really impressed by Alan and Linda, felt like family right from the start. The room was clean and spacious, and I loved having Sky TV for some downtime after a busy day.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it's acceptable.

Arriving on a Monday, some late-night noise from a party made it tough to sleep, but the atmosphere in the area was lively and engaging. The bed was less than comfortable, with two uneven singles stuck together, which affected sleep quality. Despite these issues, the hotel's charm and friendly atmosphere offered a nice retreat, and the signature meats served at the pub were well worth trying.
